Corporate gifts with your logo: a mosaic pot as a gift

A corporate gift with your logo in hand-laid mosaic lasts for years. See how a small run works, what it costs and when to start if you want it before Christmas.

Corporate gifts with your logo: a mosaic pot as a gift

A corporate gift with your logo in mosaic stays on display for years, while a standard Christmas hamper is gone within a week. At Masr Potten & Vazen we make a pot or vase with your logo in hand-laid mosaic, also in small runs. Allow six to ten weeks from approval to delivery, so start early.

Why is a pot with a logo a different kind of corporate gift?

Most business gifts disappear into a drawer or onto a desk. A pot or vase gets a permanent spot: at reception, on a terrace, in the entrance of an office or in the recipient's garden. Your logo is visible every day, without feeling pushy.

The mosaic itself adds to the story. Every piece is handmade. The tesserae are hand-cut glass pieces that are laid and grouted by hand, inspired by the Egyptian mosaic tradition. No two pieces are identical. Small differences in shade or grout are part of handcraft and not a flaw. That makes the gift personal, even when you order several.

Who is a mosaic pot with a logo suited for?

It works best where the relationship lasts longer than a single order. Think of:

  • regular clients you want to thank at the end of the year;
  • business partners at an anniversary or a new office;
  • employees at a milestone, such as ten years of service;
  • municipalities, housing associations or hospitality venues that want to mark a fixed spot in a public space.

For a big audience or a trade fair stand, where you hand out hundreds of small giveaways, a handmade piece is less suitable. It fits a small group of people you truly want to give something to. That keeps the run small and the gift valuable.

How does a corporate gift with a logo work in a small run?

You start with your logo in the best quality you have, ideally with your brand colours. We translate the design into mosaic and show you a proposal before anything is laid. You can read how that works in our article on a logo in mosaic and custom work for businesses.

A few points decide whether the run turns out well:

  • Simplicity of the logo. Clean shapes and a limited number of colours look best. Very fine lines or small text become less sharp in mosaic.
  • Number of pieces. Five, ten or twenty pieces is possible, but every piece is laid by hand. A larger run takes more time, and that counts in the planning and the price.
  • Model and size. A compact bowl is easier to give and to transport than a large floor pot. For recipients with a garden or terrace, a medium pot can be a lovely choice.
  • Colour. You can follow your brand colours, or choose a calm base with the logo as an accent.

What does a mosaic pot cost as a corporate gift?

The collection starts from around €135 per piece. Larger sizes and custom work with a logo are available on request, because the price depends on size, design and quantity. The thinking behind that is explained in our article on what a handmade mosaic pot costs.

So it is not a cheap Christmas trinket, and that is not the point. It is a more lasting alternative to a hamper that is forgotten after the holidays. For tax questions about business gifts, talk to your accountant. We do not give advice on that.

How long does it take and when should you start?

A custom piece takes six to ten weeks on average from approval to delivery. You receive photos along the way, so you can see how the logo takes shape. If you want the pieces in time for Christmas, count back from the date they need to arrive and approve the design at least ten weeks earlier. If you wait until December, it will most likely not work out.

A no-obligation quote gives you a proposal within two working days. That is a good moment to check whether the schedule is realistic. You can request a no-obligation quote right away.

We deliver in the Netherlands and Belgium, right to the spot where the piece will stand. If your recipients live at several addresses, discuss that up front so we can plan the delivery properly. For delivery details and any changes, the terms of your quote or order apply.

Which model suits which purpose?

Start with the place where the gift will end up. A small bowl sits on a desk or windowsill. A vase suits an entrance hall or a sideboard. A larger pot works on a terrace or beside a front door. For more ideas for business locations, see our article on planters for offices and businesses.

If you want to give a vase to someone without a garden, also read our tips on giving a vase as a gift. Much of it applies to business relations too: choose a neutral shape, consider the room and let the logo do the work.

Frequently asked questions

How many pieces can I have made as corporate gifts?

A small run of a few pieces up to a couple of dozen suits handcraft well, because each piece is laid by hand. A larger run takes more time and therefore an earlier start. Request a no-obligation quote and state how many pieces you need, and you will get a proposal within two working days.

Are all the pieces exactly the same?

No. Every piece is handmade and no two are identical. The logo stays recognisable and the design is the same, but small differences in shade, grout and shape are part of handcraft. Many recipients see that as the charm, because their piece is unique.

How far ahead should I order for Christmas?

Allow six to ten weeks from approval to delivery. If you want the gifts delivered before the holidays, approve the design at least ten weeks ahead. If you are later than that, mention it in your quote request and we will discuss what is still possible.

A personal gift that stays put

A corporate gift with a logo in mosaic is not an impulse buy. It takes a little preparation, but you get a piece in return that lasts for years. Masr Potten & Vazen is happy to think along on model, colour and planning. You can read more about us on the about page.
